Thank you so much for pitching in to mail us the Christmas stockings.  For many of us, this will be our third or fourth Christmas away from home, and although nothing can ever replace the time lost or the gift of being home with family for the holidays, it was certainly enough to bring a smile and some cheer to us out here, and for that, we are sincerely grateful.

As you may or may not know, this area has little stock in even the essentials, such as hygiene products, so the gifts that were included will definitely prove useful, and very much appreciated, when things such as soap are already fairly difficult to come by .... your selflessness and compassion has brough warmth to all of us out here.
